Rang to cancel the account at the end of February giving more than 30 days notice, had confirmation on that call.
Then had a call from the retention team offering deals to stay, but declined, again confirming that the account had been cancelled, and would disconnect on the 1st of April. Also said it was okay to cancel the direct debit after final payment up to the 1st of April, which we have now done.
Both times said we would get an email confirmation, but have not received anything.
Received a bill for the 2nd April - 1st May, looking for confirmation, do we have to pay this as well, and then it will be refunded, or can we ignore this.
