Really shocking service.

Appalling service from VM.

Applied for Gig broadband online for new house but address not shown on postcode finder.

received call by a gentleman stating that there was VM installed already at the property below and that I should take the business broadband, as it would be suitable for my needs.

Explained to him that I wanted the residential but was convinced by him that the business was better and that he was able to offer a good deal.

waited two weeks with no internet before the broadband was to be installed.

on the installation day the engineers turned up and when I showed him the property and explained my requirements he told me that the business package was not suitable for my needs and unfortunately I had been missold the package.

rang complaints department to explain my situation to be told that I would need to cancel the business package in order to proceed with the residential that I originally requested.

have been pushed from pillow to post and had the same conversation with many advisors just to cancel and still no confirmation despite being told I would receive an email stating this . During this time I have been called several times by a call centre requiring my confirmation to cancel and still trying to offer a better deal on the business package. Meanwhile I am still without any internet connection and no word when this will be resolved. 

my partner has a severe health issue and works from home and is having to by expensive data add ons for her mobile just to use the hotspot. I’m appalled that a company with such brand recognition can act so unprofessional and the service offered is terrible

So sorry to hear this feedback regarding your recent experiences with our Business service, and difficulties trying to get things sorted. 

Sadly we do operate separately to Virgin media Business and so in order to get your original services cancelled you will need to speak to them directly. 👉 Virgin Media Business | Business and Public Sector Services (there are several numbers you can call, or you can request a callback via a form on the site.)
You can also raise a complaint with them directly here regarding your experience with the sale 👉 Complaints Form ( - please do this if you haven't already! This way we can have a formal record of your feedback and take appropriate action to rectify things. 

Once your services have been cancelled with them you will be able to get set up as a residential customer. Sadly we also can't process new orders / support with sales via this community forum so you would also need to get in touch via phone on 📞0800 183 1234 where they can help get you set up and installed. 

We sincerely hope the teams over at Business and Sales are able to get this sorted for you, as quickly as possible.
