Re: multiple accounts my virgin media

I have a similar issue.  I have 2 vm accounts in separate properties and cancelled one yesterday (so I'm led to believe) but have no way of accessing the other one.  I still want to retain my original email address.  Surely this cannot be that difficult a task to resolve?

Hi @scottk2

Welcome to the community forums.

Sorry to hear you're having some issues accessing your other properties details.

Can you confirm the issue you're personally having with access your online account please? I'm unsure of your query from your post.

Hi Carley.

I have two properties with VM services and the main one that shows on my account is currently being cancelled.  I cannot access the details for the remaining property and wish to retain the same email address from the one that is in the cancellation process.  Hope that helps.

You will have a different username/email to access each properties online account.

Are you able to access your other properties online account through it's own login details?

Has the service at the property being cancelled been disconnected yet, or are you still waiting for the disconnection date to come? If so, once the property is disconnected we can see if transferring the login details to the other account works which will retain your email. If we performed a transfer you would loose the other email if it is a Virgin media, blueyonder or NTL email as it would be classed as orphaned and be deleted within 90 days.

Caley,

Thanks for the response.  I don't have any log in details for the property that is being retained and can only access the one for disconnection. The disconnection date has been set for December.  If we can transfer the email from the property to be disconnected to the retained one then that would work.

Hi @scottk2 thanks for getting back to us.

If I understand your most recent post correctly, then your preferred username is attached to your existing account, if your new address account is live, then the only way of having your current preferred email address is by arranging a transfer from your the account you're leaving to the new account with immediate affect.  But the account you're moving to, would  need to be live.

Lee, that is correct.  I have VM at two properties and now only keeping one

Hi @scottk2, thank you for your response.
