Trying to do the same - currently paying £74 a month and a new customer can get the same deal for £41.

Spent over an hour on hold so going down the postal route.

I have text this number and was told they cannot cancel my service.

Ive tried calling several times but I dont have time to be kept on hold for days on end (I wish that were an exaggeration).

 

I have sent a written notice of cancellation but have had no acknowledgement. I have kept text conversations with me repeatedly asking for cancellation and sent the notice recorded delivery. As someone who has been with Virgin since the very beginning its very disappointing to be treated this way.

I'm sorry you've had some trouble getting in touch, 

 

The option to cancel via text service was removed recently I'm afraid.

 

You will need to give us a call on 150/ 0345 454 1111 and we'll be able to help.
