Re: Credit but no deduction on bill

Hi jrlvm,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I am sorry to hear you have not received the promised credit on your account.

You have mentioned that you have been able to view the credit, was this on your online account?

If the credit was showing on your online account, the amount would usually have been taken from your bill produced.

When was the credit applied to the account please?

Thanks

Nat

Re: Credit but no deduction on bill

Hi Nat,

Sorry I missed your reply. I do appreciate your understanding.

My online bill dated 31 March for £62.49, as well as having my £10 credit, says that £10 was owed from the previous bill, which is nonsense by the way, and of course that £10 debit then cancelled out my £10 credit!

You will notice that all my online bills have been for about £62, and I have never seen one with the £10 credit added to make £52 yet, nor have I owed £10, as claimed.

I would be grateful if you would investigate this further.

Thank you.

Re: Credit but no deduction on bill

Thank you for the reply, Paul, but I have not received any private messages so far.

In addition to the £10 credit, I would now also like compensation for the stress I have recently endured with my new Hub 4:

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Home-Phone/Fourth-day-of-no-landline-after-upgrade-to-Hub-4/m-p...

In the end, I found out the answer myself just by sheer luck. Until then, I was without a landline for over a week! It caused me and my son a great deal of stress and misery!

Thank you again for your kind attention to this matter.

Re: Credit but no deduction on bill

I am having even more hassle with the new Hub 4:

I hope after all this stress and misery I have endured, I will be suitably compensated on my next bill!

Re: Credit but no deduction on bill

Well! I’ve been told by a Virgin Media representative on here in private chat that I’ve actually had two lots of £10 credit!

Funny that, because all my emailed bills have been for around £62! Perhaps Virgin Media would like to argue with my building society statements as well.

To add insult to injury, I will receive no compensation, because it’s nothing to do with Virgin Media (Ofcom handles it, apparently).

At least I know just how much Virgin Media cares about its customers who receive poor service. I’m 81, and feel very let down.
