Re: Catv cover - want to drop kerb what do I do

I also want to build a dropped kerb, but have a CATV manhole at the front of my property, I've emailed divworks@virginmedia.co.uk who advised that they will need to survey the area at a cost £240, but they're unable to tell me an approximate price of how much the CATV reinforcement will cost.

Can anyone advise how much they were charged for a similar project? I appreciate that every job is different, but before paying out £240 I need to know if it's going to be hundreds or thousands of pounds.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

and that is even if they will do it. It will depend if they can do the work without service disruption.

That is why you need to pay for the survey to get the costs
