I am in the exact same situation. I have so many outstanding issues with my Virgin Media package and am unable to get through to anyone to resolve those problems. All I get on the phone is an 'I'm sorry, it seems we're really busy. Please call back again later.'
You're redirected to the help FAQ page where, upon exhausting all those options, you're told to call the customer contact center. And round and round you go...
I can't even cancel my package without them picking up the phone for me. Extremely frustrating.
