Property unserviceable?

Hi,

A couple weeks ago I ended up finalising a purchase with the virgin media sales team for a broadband deal. 3 weeks later the engineer was scheduled to come the next day when I received a text from virgin through the live messenger service stating my property was unserviceable at this time.

So I was wondering if I could receive some reason why this is the case?

Extra information:

The sales man stated both properties either side of mine had or have virgin

Here is a drawing of my road: https://imgur.com/a/97YaVOx

I live in 10a which is attached to 10

Is there anyway the engineer could use my neighbours cabling route as their wall socket is literally 30cm from my house?

The landlord owns both 10 and 10A and has given permission

Thanks
