Can someone from virgin please advise.
my current (discounted) contract runs until 0ct ‘23 -at £48 /month. The recent email suggests that it will increase by £15 / month - however there is no provision in my contract for any price changes so I do not see how a price change can be implemented un5il after Oct.
I understand that new contracts will include a clause allowing for RPI plus 3.9 % annual increases

Hi Steved362,
Your individual price rise will be specific to the service you have. Overall, the average price rise is 13.8%. Some price changes will be lower and some customers will be excluded completely.
We have recruited additional resource for when customers want to get in touch. You are able to call us on 150 from your Virgin Media home phone or 0345 454 1111. You can also chat to us online via our website.

can you clarify - will my monthly payment remain at £48 / month until October?

Yes it will go up, unless one of the few exclusions and would be stated in your email/letter. You say discounted, discounted package prices are affected by price increase. New and existing contracts will be changed by the RPI + 3.9% every year price increase formula and no penalty free exit to any minimum contract term. If you contract says "Fixed" (unlikely) then it won't go up until after the minimum contract term. Price increases are calculated on your full retail price of your package not discounted price too.
Sit tight £63 per month after April 2023.
