Price Rises

FIRST 

1 - I know VM did not raise prices in 2020

2 - I know we're in the middle of a pandemic

3 - I know usage of the VM network has skyrocketed since lockdown#1

4 - I know VM need to invest in maintaining and improving the infrastructure.

BUT -

Unless customer service improves

Unless VM can provide a wider range of packages to suit all budgets

Until it solves more of the TV360 issues

then I'm afraid I'll need to look elsewhere, even if it means downgrading my broadband, losing my landline and returning to Freeview or similar for a while.  Like many, many people, I'm now on a severely reduced budget and its hard to justify the rising cost of a VM package.  I know many will disagree, but that's how I feel.

Admins - can you help? Likewise, I got the email about price rises, which I simply can't afford. I haven't had any income for over 7 months and need to reduce my outgoings. I've been dialling 150 for three days - from 8am onwards and simply CANNOT get through. How can I speak to someone???

ive been on the live chat from 10 this morning in a q ..both phone number when i ring just set to auto hang up or something .i would also like to leave and finding it very difficult to do this had a much better offer from Vodaphone with no price rise for 24 months which has forced me to look elsewhere shocking behavior from virgin again

Still unable to speak to anyone and now worried I wont be able to downgrade or cancel in time.

Still unable to speak to anyone almost 3 weeks after getting my price rise email. Not good enough.

I called this morning at 8:30 and got through to retentions in less than a minute so try early in the morning.

Was this in regards to a package change due to the rise? If so we don't handle package changes over the forum but you can call on 150/0345 454 1111 options 1 4 then 4 to go through options.
