unless your letter or email says so, then no, it will be during your contract.

You do have 30 days to exit penalty free if affected by price increase due to OfCom rules, even if just entered into a contract or renegotiated package. Next year you won't as VM changing contracts it's been said to take account of RPI + 3.9%. You must give notice within 30 days of the letter or email sent, whichever is first.
