Pre contract forms received for change not agreed to

I was searching on Virgin Media for details about the new package that was on my bill this month 'Looks like you've made some changes this month' I hadn't, VM had. I came to a link that suggested I could get a lower monthly change which I clicked through to investigate but didn't agree to it. I have now had a precontract email and I'm not sure what has happened. Am I on the new contract or have I agreed to a second contract? I don't need two.

Hello AnneLogie1.

Thanks for your post,

Sorry that you received a new contract when you were not intending to make any changes.

It will be okay as any changes are able to be cancelled in 14 days.

I can also take a look into this for you.

If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the  top right of your screen that would be great.
