Phone line

Hi

have added a phone line to my package which meant a new hub. No matter what we do we can’t get the new hub to work. Can anyone help please?  Can use the old hub but not the new one. Can’t get through to anyone on the phone line, have had texts to says it’s activated but it’s not working
