I paid my bill early on the 16th andni have an email proving it and a bank statement...and now virgin have just taken for it again..... I want it back and right away....

If you had a direct debit setup and the payment was due within ten days from you paying it sadly your direct debit will come out. You should have informed vm that you made the payment early. You can do a direct debit indemnity claim and get the money back or ring vm to get refund from the debit card also if you ring up you could get the dd date changed to day of the month that suits you

Apologies for any issues faced with the payment, to clarify are you currently paying via direct debit?

As if you have paid early manually, the direct debit would still be taken as usual.
