Paying an old bill - Forgotten Log In Details

Hi

Please can anyone help. My partner has an old mobile debt for £22 that we need to pay to be given a mortgage.

He cannot remember his password or mobile number so everytime we ring up we cannot pass security to pay it. We desperately want to pay it off today.

We know the address and date a/c was opened from his credit file. Has anyone had an experience of this themselves?

Thanks

even if you pay it the default will not be removed from the credit file. It will only be marked as settled.
It will still be seen by lenders.

It may even harm you just as much to be seen paying off debts just before asking a lender for money. What that looks like to the lender is pretty bad

I am aware of this thank you. It isn’t an issue for our lender we just need to prove it’s been paid

Re: Paying an old bill - Forgotten Log In Details

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forums, ECharg1.

Have you been able to get this sorted since your post? We can try resetting the online account here https://mobile.virginmedia.com/ecare/forgetPassword

If not then we can speak with the account holder of the mobile number for data protection queries. However we are unable to take payments via the forums. This would still have to be over the phone or online.

Cheers,

Corey C
