Hi i paid my bill early but the direct debits still gone out

When you pay early, you are advised that the DD will still be taken.

The second payment becomes credit on your account and used to pay the next bill.

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

If you have paid the bill manually within 5 working days of the direct debit being due, this will be why and of course not cancelling the direct debit when paid it as well.

You can speak to the bank to recall the direct debit should you wish to or the overpayment will go against the next bill.
