Order to upgrade m500 to 1gig done online - pre-contract has been sent but online chat will not process

I accepted the offer to upgrade my volt 500mb to 1gig - I was happy with the price and accepted it. I received an email confirming the price. Today I chased when my package would be upgraded to be told mutliple times that I can't get upgraded. Can a Mod please PM
