Omnibox & cable causing obstruction

Hello,

I have a brown omni box on a wall in my front garden which was installed when a previous owner lived here.

The cable that joins the box to the street cuts across part of the garden, rather than neatly or discreetly following the border of the wall. I feel as if the engineer that installed it could have done a better job of fitting it to cause less of an obstruction, as I cannot currently use that area of my garden for planting or storage.

Is there anything that we can do to get the cable changed to follow the wall or can the box itself be moved?

Thanks,

Jack

Re: Omnibox & cable causing obstruction

Thanks for your response - how would I get in touch with them for this?

Do you know if its common for them to lay cables in this way, rather than following the line of a wall - or is it just our bad luck with the engineer who did it?
