Not received first bill

Hi,

I signed up to Virgin a few weeks back and had my quick start kit over three weeks ago. 

Had a few issues when setting up with activation so had to call a few times to get this resolved. 

Since then I’ve not received my first bill, looking online I’ve seen this should be received after about 16 days however I’m on day 24 now and nothing....

Hi,

Have you checked the virgin media app? this will give you all the information about your bill from direct debit date and date due.

Hi,

 

Yes - it says bill not available and also says it can’t show me my package. 

On the first screen it also tells me I can track my QuickStart package which I received over 3 weeks ago?

You are not alone!  I seem to be in the same situation (hub in & working, but VM seem to think I'm waiting for kit/install - a kind staff member tried to activate it today, but little seems to have changed).

Feels like trying to push water up hill with a brush doesn't it?

I’ve managed to get hold of Virgin today....

Apparently whatever has happened to my account they have never seen before. It’s had to go to a back office team to be fixed (no timescale given)

They have advised me that my first bill will now be 3 months + activation fee so just shy of £200 - not ideal!!! 

Not impressed

Good luck - £200 is a lot.

I'll be keeping an eye on your progress - I may be the second instance of the issue!

Spoke to Virgin again today. 

All seems to be now set up, and I can now see my bill on the app. 

They have assured me I will only pay for my first 2 months on this bill and have very kindly removed the activation fee as I had to do most of the work I feel. 

Only downside to all of this is I now have to wait another 28 days on top of the 28 days I have already waited for my Nintendo Switch that came with my package.
