Not happy

We we're cold called yesterday and I was forced into a contract I don't want can I revert back back to the contract we liked

how were you forced into. YOu should of just hung up.

You have 14 days to revert back. Give CS a call to do this

Yes, you'll have a 14 day cooling off period to cancel, and that should revert to the previous contract.  Forum staff probably can't do this, so you'll need to phone up.  Probably best to follow phone options that take you to "thinking of leaving".

You're right of course I should have hung up in fact I wished now i'd slammed the phone down but I didn't as I'm not that sort of person but I have lodged a complaint with VM

Thanks my only problem is that in the T & C's it says if you cancel you lose everything

you are not cancelling the contract. you are cancelling the new contract under the distance selling regs. you'll go back to your old contract.

But you only have 14 days to do that. If you wait for the complaint to be process you will be stuck with the new contract

Thanks Melissa I'm still a little bit worried as it's still showing the new contract (although they have put the price back to what it was before the cold call) maybe its going to take some time, they also have not sent a confirmation email
