No welcome email

I have now rang and been cut off twice. I cannot set up an online account or use Virgin go because I have no account number - this is because I have NO ‘welcome email’.  The so called customer services on the phone line treat me like I’ve actually done something wrong.  I’ve emailed & pm’d and got no response.  How difficult can it be? Judging by previous comments I am one of many to have been treated this way - if I wasn’t out of my cooling off period I would have cancelled. Shocking way to treat new customers. If anyone knows of a shortcut I’m all ears…
