No way of getting through

I have tried calling today, my response was goodbye then the line cut off.  I have tried live chat, sitting there for 40 minutes and no reply.  I have resulted to using the text message option, with a reply in 24hours!! I understand there is limited staff due to covid but surely there has to be an easier way to speak to someone regarding my bill.

I paid my 'overdue' bill on 29th October £77.50 (yes £7.50 late charge!) that appeared out my bank on 30th october, I have proof on my banking, confirmation email receipt on the 29th october but funnily enough it has not been deducted from my virgin app.  Still says its overdue.  Guaranteed there will be another late payment charge on there, which I will not be paying by the way as I have tried 4 methods to get in contact with a human rather than an automated robot!!

Unfortunately the app doesn't get updated until the next bill is produced.

I hope so.  If not I have proof on my banking and via email that payment was made.
