So glad to have left VirginMedia - that was difficult enough - but getting back the £51.83 they owe me (they charge in advance) is proving to be another nightmare. My contract with them ended on 10th December 2020 and despite several telephone calls and a letter of complaint, the promised cheque has yet to arrive. I thought 45 days was a disgraceful length of time to wait for a refund but we're heading towards two months now. And cheques? It will probably be several weeks before I am prepared to travel on a bus into town to my bank's one branch. They had all my bank account details and surely they can figure out how to do a transfer of funds.
