After a lot of messing around I decided to cancel my upcoming contract before installation, and so i spent hours on the phone and after multiple hangups by customer service and the pre-installation and delivery team, somebody finally said they would cancel for me and I would receive a cancellation email, which I have not.
I can see on the my virgin media app that the installation is no longer scheduled, however I am still receiving emails about the upcoming contract. Please could somebody confirm that the contract has been cancelled without me having to ring customer service again.

You wouldn't receive a confirmation email of the cancellation, however if it shows as cancelled via the app this would be the case.
So I can confirm things with you I've popped you over a private message.
