New contract, discount and retention.

1: Been with Virgin media over 20 years.

2: Contract coming to end, goes from £72.50 to £84.50

3: As a new customer, can get a better package for £64.50

4: Do I really have to go through the same palaver every year, ( threatening to cancel etc) to get similar deal.

5: Any answer please...  Can it not just be done via a simply mail ?

Yes you need to go through the same palava if you want a cheaper deal than the normal price

I work for Virgin Media and my posts are my own opinions

Re: New contract, discount and retention.

Just for info, I managed to get through after a reasonable long wait (20minutes) and got a upgrade internet from 100 to 200, and discounted to £70

Only bad thing was I had to change the tv package from full house to maxit, but as I don't need the kids channels it was no big loss.

I'm on the bigger bundle, with extra box (old one, not V6), and talk more anytime.
