New Home - new account number, keep e-mail address to sign in

Hello, 

I moved house and am having Virgin installed which I also had in the previous house. The team told me on the phone that I could not take the account that I currently have because the account number will change but it would mean to use another e-mail address which I don't want to do, just to keep bill notifications central. 

I was on the forum and there seems to be a way that I could keep the current sign-in with my main e-mail . Please can anyone help?

Hey NeeltjeH thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am sorry to hear this.

We would need to raise an IT ticket which can take up to 5 working days and sometimes a little longer if you wish to use the same email for a new account.

UPDATE: I was able to sort the issue by changing the email address (for signing in and messages) on the old account (in settings) which in turn freed up the main email address to set up a new account online.
