Netflix on Virgin - Customer Service useless

I have tried to cancel a Netflix subscription for over 9 months and get no help from Virgin Customer Services.  Its like talking to a wall.  I go on line, follow their instructions and de activate and then get an email to say its cancelled and then 2 days later it is reactivated.  Virgin blame me but we have the app locked with a pin on the Virgin Box and Virgin Customer services still say it is me that has reactivated.  I still have 10 months left on my contact, as soon as this expires we are closing our account after more than 20+ years.
