Moving to a new address

I will lose 6 days of service because it was the earliest installation the VM moving department could book. Does VM waive the 6 days of charges for non-usage?

Welcome back to our Community, so sorry that there will be a short delay with installing you at your new home - we do try where possible to have no more than 24 hours where possible. 

 

Once our services are disconnected at your old address, we’ll send you a final bill for that address. This will include:

  • The package cost and any usage charges for your final month at that address up to the disconnection date.
  • If you’re staying with us, an account transfer charge of £20 to cover the costs of us setting up your services at your new address.

Where we can, we’ll try to transfer your final balance at your old address to your new one. We’ll let you know in advance, and if we do transfer it you won’t get a final bill at your old address.

 

Just to let you know, if we aren’t able to transfer your final balance to your new address, your final bill will include pro-rated charges for services you’ve been billed for. This includes services you haven’t used, including fees.

 

If you’ve changed packages, the first bill at your new address will include a description of your service and the price. It’ll start from the day your services go live and will cover the next month in advance, which means your first bill will be higher than usual. The price will return to normal the following month.
