Please can anyone recommend the easiest way to put a request in to move the access point for the broadband cable. Previously we have had VM TV in the new location so the cable / hole is already in place which should make this a straightfoward task.
Secondly the Suberhub 2 is on its last legs with a lot of TLC needed and time for an upgrade, is this something that can be combined with the same visit?
Are mods able to book in an engineer visit?

There would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require.
You should call 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faults)
When calling Faults you will hear the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support etc
Ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.
Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit.
Unless the SH2 breaks down you would probably need to recontract to be able to change/update your hub, although you might be lucky, see below.
Have you tried signing into My Virgin Media to see if you are due a free upgrade.?

Hi there,
Jumping on the back of this, could you contact me to arrange a relocation for my access point? Moved into a new house last year and haven't been able to use our TV services since because of the access point location.
