Moved house and new account number not on profile

Hi

I have moved house and I was given a new account number, my old account is still setup on the 'my virgin media' and i cant find a way of removing this and adding my new account number, i am getting emails about my bills on my email; address but i cant register my new account number with this email address as it says its in use by another account. Is there a way of removing the old account number and adding the new one?

Thank you for your message. 

I understand that you're trying to use the email address registered on your old account  to register your new account. 

When our movers team were setting up the new account they should have offered to switch over your online account details. 

I have now sent you a private message so I can get this checked over for you. 

You will be able to access your private messages by clicking on the purple envelope located at the top right hand side of your screen.

I have replied to your message, they didn’t move my details when I moved, so any help would be great fully appreciated.

I have inboxed you again...... this still hasn’t been sorted, still showing my old details and saying I have left virgin media etc......
