Move and Transfer contract error

I'm facing the same problems here as the others where I have been put into a new contract instead of continuing the old contract when moving home. I have 6 months left with the old contract, but I have been put into a new 18 months contract while the offer price is ending in 6 months.

Can anyone help me out to clear up the confusion?

Thanks for posting, and a warm welcome to the Community Forums.

I'm sorry to hear there is some confusion when moving home with your contract. When a move is processed, we are required to set up a new account, which is then assigned a full set of new account details. By default, a contract is automatically processed to the account, but this is usually updated to the previous contract length within 14 days of activation.
