More issues signing in to account

Hi all - I have gone through the message boards and it seems my issue is a recurring one; I was able to set up an account as a new customer, but now I cannot sign into it again. An error message continues to come up, regardless if I use the link from the welcome email or directly from the virginmedia.com page.

It doesn't bode well for future use and is frustrating that this is an ongoing issue. Please help!
