Hi there,
Slightly complicated one.
I was one of the unlucky few that signed up for the Sky Sports UHD + TNT Sports + Mixit TV Black Friday Deal, but never had it activated. I phoned up the next day to query, and was told the order had 'not gone through', but eventually settled on an identical package whereby I'd be provided Sky Sports UHD, TNT Sports and Mixit TV for virtually the same price. Over the phone, this was confirmed to be an 18-month deal with no price increase until month 19.
I was sent a pre-contract agreement, and an 'approval' to sign via SMS, and both made mention that the price of my deal would be £60.75pm until month 19, when it would increase to £147.50. This was what I was told on the phone. No issues. Contract signed, order placed, got the TV kit, all is working as expected, happy days...
Except I've now been billed, and the email containing the bill states that my Sky Sports HD and UHD are a 'promotional discount' active for 3-months after which I'll be paying around £74.75pm. This was not stated anywhere - not on the Black Friday deal, nor on the phone, nor in the pre-contract agreement that I still have (which states, unequivocally, that the discounted rate I am on will be in effect until May 2025).
Anyone else in the same boat? The 3-month 'discounted rate' was never, ever advertised or told to me, otherwise I wouldn't have signed up to the deal. I've scoured my inbox, and all the pre-contract agreements, and there's zero mention. The only mention I have is now in my contract.

Hello whufc4life1.
Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to read about the new contract not matching up to what was advised on the phone.
As much as we would like to help, Account packages, contracts and billing issues are beyond our support scope.
Have you been able to contact our team again by phone?
If so what was advised.
The correct way would be for the agent to raise a complaint and deal with this and offer a resolution.
If you have raised a complaint then please have a look at our code of practise https://virg.in/comcop
