Minimum contract period for upgrade

Hi,

I am currently out of contract with Virgin Media. I found an upgrade offer for additional £10 a month, but the contractual terms are confusing. Monthly cost break down says the following -

Bigger bundle Summary (1 month contract unless specified)

£78.00 a month
for 18 months then
£88.00 a month

What i am not sure is whether this upgrade will mean I take up a 18-month contract or it is an offer for 18-month with 1-month cancellation period.

Can someone please clarify.

if you upgrade you'll still be in a minimum term. Upgrading to a offer will not move a 18 month contract to a 1 month. that makes no sense

I am currently not in a contract. What I was asking is whether I will have to take a 18-month minimum contract if I upgrade. It is not very clear becasue the offer says 1-month contract but a discounted price for 18 month.

well it it says 1 month unless specified and then says 18 months then its specifying 18 months so it will be 18 months
