I have today and tomorrow to give notice of leaving as instructed last year. I actually popped date in diary and now I can't get any memwr of staff online or phone to get it stopped for now. Moving in with parents as my mum is very unwell with parkinsons and don't want any trouble with virgin.. Too stressed to cope and trying to keep it a smooth transition. Help please as no one is contactable and I'm not renewing for the foreseeable future. Can someone from virgin call me please. Its becoming irritating to me now.. Over 1 hr spend trying to speak to someone about leaving just isn't acceptable. Covid shouldn't be stopping businesses that are supply a home entertainment programme as that's where we're all at these days. I'm not paying for something I don't have plus my TV has broken down.. Unreal!
I'm sorry to see that your mum is unwell, sending you all support and upliftment.
I'm afraid the Forum Team can't cancel accounts or arrange callbacks.
You have 3 options to cancel your services.
You could try the text messaging service. Just send a text with a description of cancellation to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days.
You can also call 150 from your Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues
Or write to them to as per the terms and conditions. If writing send it by registered post. VM should take the date you send the request as the start of your 30 day cancellation notice.
