I have been an NTL/Virgin user for over 15 years. I have had a My Virgin Media Account. I have however recenctly sold my house, as i am separting from my partner my purchase went through about 6 weeks after my sale. I have remained with Virgin but been given a new account number for my 'new' contract, although the engineer and help desk can see they are linked.
If I log in with my old account it says i have no account and all info will be deleted after 90 days.
I have tried to create a new My Virgin Media acount with the new account number but it will not let me use my email address to do so as it is linked to another account. If i use a back up email address I have I am told that it can't set up the account as the email address needs to be the same one I gave when settign up the new contract.
How can I set up the new account?
Do I have to wait for the 90 days to expire and then use my main email address?
doubt the the email address would be re-usable after the 90 days, could have a chat with the moving house team and they'll be able to sync up the accounts, if you were the account holder of the previous account.
