Love the way that if you try to leave VM online to escape their inflation-busting price increase you get a 404 Page Not Found error!!

All intentional.  But what they can't do is stop you cancelling by recorded delivery post, section N in the T&Cs.

Maybe consider sending a recorded letter.

It avoids the bizarre situation where these companies think the public have to fit-in with their internal processes and procedures.

just send a recorded letter using address on their Leaving Virgin web page to 

Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA

including your name, address and account number.

Quick visit to post office and all sorted.
