Is it just me - how to open chat box with VM

Am I an idiot? Is there a way to actually open up a chat box with VM?

The online messenger chats don't operate 24/7 as phone calls take priority,

However, there's often the option, during normal office hours, of opening a chat box if you sign into My Virgin Media at the top of the page and click on My Upgrades and Offers.

You can also try - during office hours from 8am, and you may need to try at different times of the day, the Message Us box on either

contactus/make-a-complaint  or contact-us/moving-home 

 

If you don't want to be tied up on the phone you could also try the text messaging service. Just send  a text with a short description of your issue  to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days

You can also call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call between 8am and 10am to avoid call queues, or late afternoon around tea time
