Incorrect bill

Hi,

I joined virgin media on 7th October 2020. As per my contract I should pay £27pm  for 18 months period then goes on £51pm. I've been charged £51 from the beginning. I phoned virgin customer service three times, spoken to three different technicians and no one come with solution. I've been told this will be sorted before my first bill, hovewer I been charged £102 last night!

Is anyone here could help, please?

Thanks for the post Dundek94 and welcome to our community.

 

The first bill is always a double bill covering your first two months of service, it would also include an activation fee to activate your equipment. You can read more on this here

 

The new bill would be the old bill and the next bill added onto this with a late payment fee of £7.50.

Hi,

Understand 1st bill is double but why is double of £51 if contract I signed cleary says £27 per month?

In this case I should pay 2 x £27 + activation fee. Late payment? I have a direct debit set up from 1st day.

No corrections.

I have conformation of my contract. My monthly service charge should be £27 for 18mnths then £51 from April 2020.
