Incorrect Email In Virgin Media Online Account - Can't login

I recently told virgin media that I as moving to a new address and they assigned me a new account number.
When I was creating a new account for that service, I mistakenly wrote the new email address with the incorrect domain assigned to it (ex: firstname.lastname@example.org instead of email@example.com) .
Now Virgin Media is asking me to verify the email address and doesn't let me login without doing that. Since I don't have access to the email I mistakenly wrote I can't do said verification and now I'm stuck.
I tried using the "forgotten email" reset but I cannot change the email and they keep sending verification emails to the wrong email.
I also tried using the online chat but they are not replying and after some time it resets, so I get stuck with the bot and have to do the whole process again.
