Hi there,
I am gonna disconnect from VM on 4 Dec, and I have problem with my last payment.
On the bill interface, there is a "explain my last bill" note saying that "You'll only pay for the days before you disconnect on 4th December, even if your usual billing period is longer. Your usual direct debit amount will be adjusted so you only pay for the days up to your disconnection date."
However, I just found that none of that happened. My direct debit was still £30 and it has just been taken as usual. The bill period is from 24 Nov to 23 Dec, so obviously I has been charged beyond the disconnection date.
It is rather disappointing that VM does not do what it says in the "explain my last bill" note, which shows an accurate and fair way to charge on the last bill. VM should improve the billing system, making it reliable like its fibre connection.
Could anyone from the VM team please help look into the issue and rectify the payment as soon as possible?
I am concerned because after disconnection date I am not sure if I still have the VM account and be able to get any help here on this forum.
