I got upgrade instead of downgrade

Hi, 

My phone, tv and broadband contract finished last year April 2019 and I called them to downgrade VM. I was told I have no option but to pay £8 more if I want to have Broadband only and dont want TV and phone which I don't use. I paid £48 for the whole year without using TV and phone. My box doesn't work from 2018 and it was impossible to contact them to sort it out. Now the pandemic and there is no option to get Broadband only package. 

Can you someone help me how can I convert to Broadband package only as the contract is finishing in 2 months and the price will increase to £68 while I just want £38 broadband-only deal. 

I try to call them but no one picks up for hours.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your package. 

 

Sadly this isn't something we can assist with over the community. 

 

We are experiencing higher than normal call queues and do ask you bear with us.
