Hi, I’ve just had an email informing me of a dalayed activation with no reason.
Having read horror stories of VM connections (plus the fact that I work from home and need an internet connection), I’ve decided I’d rather stick with BT.
I’m a new VM customer, am I entitled to cancel my contact without penalty given that my service hasn’t started yet?

Thanks for your post. We're really sorry to hear you're looking to cancel your services so soon. We're sorry to have let you down.
That's right - as your services have not been installed, your contract with us won't have started and so you can leave without being charged. I'm afraid that we cannot process cancellations from here however our Pre Installation Team can process the cancellation for you on 0345 454 1111.
