How to cancel my contract when I can't get through to customer services?

Hi

I've tried to call customer services many times today, been on hold between 12mins to hours with the call dropping off every time and not having spoken to anybody at all!

I am a broadband only customer and need to cancel my contract as I am moving to a property where Virgin is not available. 

I really don't know what else do to besides cancel my direct debit payments as a proof that I have made attempts to contact Virgin yet nobody has responded. 

Is there any other way I can formally cancel my contract besides waiting on a phone call for hours for it only to get dropped on me?

Live chat has not been working for days. I haven't been able to get on to live chat at all.

Is there any email address I can send my cancellation request to?

Try messaging service by texting 07533 051809, there is no additional charge for this service beyond your service provider's text messaging costs.
