How do you cancel!?

I have been trying to cancel my services for the last 3 hours, it started with I wanted to keep my broadband but cancel tv and phone (I’m out of contract) but the lady said she couldn’t offer me just broadband and was putting me through to another team… I got cut off eventually, since then I’ve received a pre contract for an 18 month contract for the whole bundle. I don’t want this but can not get through now, I get cut off after an hour and left on live chat for over an hour. This is ridiculous. How are you supposed to cancel if you can’t speak to anyone. If I go with another provider will they deal with the cancellation?

Hi KirstyT1,

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble trying to cancel your account with us.

Unfortunately, we're unable to process any cancellation request from here.

If you request to cancel your services, you will need to speak to our cancellations team on 150/0345 454 1111 options 1,4 then 4 again. If you're call is cutting off before speaking to an agent, when you call do not enter any details when prompted, after a short period of time you will be presented with the main menu and an agent will answer shortly after.

Alternatively, use our WhatsApp messaging service on 0730 532 7112.

Please be aware this is not an immediate response team; however we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

You can also write to us at the address here:

Kind regards Jodi.

Can you no longer email your cancellation? It seems to me there are tactics to stop customer’s cancelling their services in the hope they will stay.

Hi @Sparky3366 thanks for your reply here.

It's not possible to email a cancellation unfortunately, but please see Jodi's post as she has highlighted all the methods to be able to cancel.

We hope this helps!
Many thanks
