I'm a new customer to Virgin Media and signed up for Broadband a week ago.
Due to a change in circumstances I need to cancel this contract. The installation isn't due for another 5 weeks and as I am still in the cooling off period didn't envisage any problems.
I have spoken to an advisor and he said that there is nothing showing on my account yet and so can't cancel. He said until it's installed there is nothing that he can do. Surely this is incorrect. I explained that he would be wasting both my time and the engineers by having to visit my property to be turned away.
Can someone please advise how I go about cancelling.
