I have sent a recorded delivery letter to the Sunderland address advising that I wish to cancel my contract due to the forthcoming price increase.
How do I know that they are actually carrying out my instructions?
What is the procedure?
Do they confirm that they are in the process of cancelling my account or do they just do it?

I don't have any real concerns about cancelling my contract yet, as it hasn't been long since Virgin received my letter.
However, due to the many horror stories about people trying to cancel, I just wanted to know the procedure and know how Virgin would acknowledge my instruction, so that I could be able to be reassured that it was in process.
I will read and respond to your PM as soon as I can. Work calls.
