I was called earlier today offering me something called HomeWorks. The lady said I could have a "free upgrade" to 200mb broadband if I took it and it won't cost me anything extra.
I realised on the call, though, that the price she was quoting was more than I was currently paying, so told her not to add it.
An hour later, I get an email saying it has been added. And my broadband has been upgraded - at an extra cost of £8/month! Neither of which I wanted.
I think I've got the broadband sorted (spoke to somebody in retentions), but he didn't know what HomeWorks was.
Can someone help me to
1. Remove HomeWorks from my account
2. Check my package has been reverted to what I originally had?
Sorry to hear that Homeworks has been added without your consent.
Using the information we have, I can see that a colleague has resolved this for you.
Please let me know if you still need assistance.
Yes, thank you.
Would it be possible to private message me to check the following:
1. My package has been reverted to 100M, talk more anytime, mix TV and is at £40/month.
2. That my contract date has been reset back to May 2020 (and not Aug 5th when the unrequested change was made)?
Yes sure I can check for you.
I'll send you a Private Message to take a look.
Hi - it looks like my bill reverted a couple of months early. I spoke Retentions on Friday and they said they will get this fixed. It doesnt show on my bill as yet. Could somebody reach out to me on PM pls to take a look?
