I have joined this forum on behalf of my mother who is not online yet but would like to be.
She lives alone but always had regular visits however, since the crisis struck she has been trying to upgrade her package to include broadband so that she can 'zoom' the grandchildren, order shopping etc.
After several failed attempts to get through on the call centre number(for obvious reasons!), I told her that I would do it for her online or on chat but I am not having any joy there either.
She is currently paying about £65 a month for just TV and landline which seems excessive seeing as new customer are being offered all 3 services for 12 months for under £30!
Does anyone have any suggestions where I go from here?
Not really an 'emergency' as such but my mum is elderly, living on her own and being online would just make her feel a little less lonely bless her x
