I rang Virgin earlier today to cancel Sky Sports. This was easy enough. Shortly after I checked my emails to see if they'd sent an email confirming I'd done this, and also informing me of my revised charges for the next couple of months.
I could see no email, so rang them again, requesting the above information.
I have checked my emails again. This time I have received three emails, one mentioning a fictitious technicians appointment, the other two recommending I download help apps App Store and Google Play, when I don't own a smart phone to be able to do this.
The last guy I spoke to told me they couldn't send me an email with the information I wanted.
All the people I spoke to sounded like they were from overseas call centres. I hate myself for saying this, but such encounters often leave me with the feeling that there has been no fully satisfactory and meaningful communication, notwithstanding the almost excessive courtesy one is sometimes subjected to.
